To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Marketing Society, the Society rated the brands that shone most brightly in each of the last 50 years.

Brand Finance have been commissioned to place a financial valuation on these brands; to ascertain the Brand Value in terms of contributions to the success of the company or parent company.

The Marketing Society was founded in 1959; today, The Marketing Society is widely considered to be the most influential network of senior marketers dedicated to championing marketing in the UK. 50 Golden Brands is their exploration on the changing role of brands since their foundation.
