  • Brand Finance is currently working with Banco Real to develop a marketing scorecard and flexible business valuation model for its retail banking business
  • Working with marketing, market research and finance, Brand Finance has:
    • Designed a marketing scorecard incorporating key marketing, brand and business metrics across the customer value chain
    • Developed a flexible business valuation model to allow flexing of revenue drivers in the model to help understand the potential impact of marketing activity on customer behaviour and, ultimately, business value
    • Conducted a competitive benchmarking exercise in order to value the Banco Real brand
  • Scorecard will enable:
    • Greater understanding of how marketing activity influences customer perceptions and the performance (and value) of the business
    • Tracking of KPI’s over time
    • Better allocation of resources (return on investment)
    • Ensure the business considers both short and long term implications of marketing activity
