- Brand Finance is currently working with Banco Real to develop a marketing scorecard and flexible business valuation model for its retail banking business
- Working with marketing, market research and finance, Brand Finance has:
- Designed a marketing scorecard incorporating key marketing, brand and business metrics across the customer value chain
- Developed a flexible business valuation model to allow flexing of revenue drivers in the model to help understand the potential impact of marketing activity on customer behaviour and, ultimately, business value
- Conducted a competitive benchmarking exercise in order to value the Banco Real brand
- Scorecard will enable:
- Greater understanding of how marketing activity influences customer perceptions and the performance (and value) of the business
- Tracking of KPI’s over time
- Better allocation of resources (return on investment)
- Ensure the business considers both short and long term implications of marketing activity
